What is the level of accuracy? +

Matterport BIM files are delivered at an industry standard LOD 200 (Level of Development 200). This means architectural and structural elements are represented with approximate quantities, size, shape, and location. The ultimate accuracy depends on the quality of the camera used (e.g., Pro2 or Pro3).

How is the BIM file price estimate calculated? +

The price of BIM files is automatically calculated based on the total square footage of your Matterport space and the additional packages you select (e.g., including MEP or Furniture). You can view the final price in your account before placing the order.

What file formats are included? +

Upon ordering, you receive a complete package including an Autodesk Revit project file (.RVT), an industry-standard .IFC file, .DWG floor plans for CAD, and ceiling plans (if selected).

How do I download the BIM file from Matterport? +

You will receive a notification email when your file is ready. You can then log into your my.matterport.com account and download the ZIP folder containing your BIM files from the "Downloads" section of the respective Space.

How do I activate and use the Autodesk Revit plugin? +

Download and install the Matterport plugin for free from the Autodesk App Store. Once installed, you can log directly into your Matterport account via the plugin inside Revit and import BIM files or Point Clouds into your project with a single click.
